Join us for a screening and discussion exploring the work of artist and film-maker Tom Wolseley.

Tom is currently an Urban Lab Leverhulme-funded Artist-in-Residence at UCL working with Dr Andrew Harris from the Department of Geography.

Tom will be showing an extract from his last film 11 New Quebec Street that records the myriad contingencies of a neglected building in Marylebone, and will discuss initial ideas around his current project 'Shardology: New Visions of Vertical London'. This project researches the Shard, London and Western Europe's tallest building, as a object and event that brings together both international finance and everyday experience.

Tom would like to encourage anyone that is interested in participating in conversations about the Shard to get in touch with him (tom@architrope.com). Previous projects by Tom can be seen at architrope.com, and on his Vimeo channel.
