We invite you to join a public conversation about the draft New London Plan and help write an LGBTQ+ community response to the current open consultation about this document.

The publication of the draft plan marks an important opportunity to influence the capital's strategic plan. This is a powerful document - all planning decisions should follow London Plan policies, and it sets a policy framework for local plans across London. However, this 500-page document is not easy to navigate.

At this interactive workshop, hosted by UCL Urban Laboratory researchers and the Queer Spaces Network, we will attempt to collectively read the plan from the perspective of LGBTQ+ communities and write a suitable response.

If reading and commenting on a city plan doesn't sound tempting enough, we will also provide refreshments and will retire to a local queer space afterwards.

All are welcome to join - no prior knowledge of planning or the London Plan required.
