Stadtklang

Please join us for our second Stadtklang night on Sunday 21 July from 7-11pm. This is a music evening run through the UCL Urban Laboratory and held in the Arcola Theatre bar in Dalston, Hackney. It's free-entry and the perfect way to round off your weekend.

We're very pleased that for the forthcoming Stadtklang we'll be joined by Paul Purgas and Douglas Murphy who'll discuss and play some city-themed music.

Paul Purgas is a sound artist and curator who records as Emptyset (with James Ginzburg) with releases on Raster-Noton and Subtext, he also runs the label We Can Elude Control. 

Douglas Murphy is the author of The Architecture of Failure (Zero books), and is architecture correspondent for Icon magazine. He blogs at youyouidiot.blogspot.com

The Arcola theatre is only 100 metres from Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction on the Overground, and with plenty of buses passing nearby.
