UCL Urban Laboratory Leverhulme Artist-in-residence Rab Harling will exhibit his work in progress, photographing the Balfron Tower from inside out, at a key moment in the 'regeneration' of this iconic building. The exhibit will be available to see from 28 April to 2 May 2014 in the Slade Research Centre.
As part of UCL Urban Laboratory's week-long Cities Methodologies exhibition, a round table on the ethics of photographing and filming London estates will be held on Tuesday 29th April. Booking for this event is required via Eventbrite.
The Balfron Tower in East London's Tower Hamlets was designed by Ernő Goldfinger in 1963 and has been a Grade II listed building since 1996. It is considered the sister building of West London's Trellick Tower.
