Bloomsbury Centre for Genetic Epidemiology and Statistics
The Bloomsbury Centre for Genetic Epidemiology and Statistics (BCGES) is a collaborative venture between the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University College London and Birkbeck. Its aim is to advance the understanding of the genetic mechanisms underlying health and disease through the development and application of computational tools and quantitative methods and models. The Centre aims to co-ordinate and foster collaboration between genetics research groups within and between LSHTM, UCL and Birkbeck, and to provide a focus to highlight research and teaching activities in this area.
