Master of Science in HCI with Ergonomics

The UCLIC masters course draws on a wide range of disciplines that introduces graduates to the problems, knowledge and practice of HCI and ergonomics. The course runs over a full calendar year, starting in September.

Students accepted for the course will normally have obtained a second class degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject (such as Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering). Applicants with professional qualifications will be considered, with account taken of any practical experience. Affiliate students (e.g., from other universities) are welcome.

MSc mini project4

In addition to a wide variety of lectures, labs, projects and so on, case studies and other techniques are presented by members of research organisations and other practitioners. Visits are made to organisations and research establishments. The modules cover a wide range of relevant subjects, and the research project allows students to pursue their own interests in HCI at a high level, often working with companies on real-world problems. An introductory reading list is available, and will give you a flavour of the field.

To find out about applying for the course go to our Prospective Students page.
