Research Interests
Duncan Brumby is a senior lecturer (assistant professor) at the UCL Interaction Centre. His research is concerned with understanding how people interact with technology systems, focusing specifically on how people find things on the web and how they use mobile devices on the move. To address these types of questions, Dr Brumby develops computational models of psychological processes and conducts empirical studies to test theories of interactive behaviour. See also his publications and curriculum vitae.
Dr. Brumby teaches topics in HCI on a variety of programmes at UCL. He is also the project coordinator on the MSc HCI-E programme. Staff at UCLIC are always keen to discuss with industry partners the possibility of collaborating on a student project and we host an annual Project Day at UCL in February. Please contact Dr Brumby for more information.
