Research Summary

Dr Hagger-Johnson’s current research considers the role of multiple health behaviours on cognitive decline in the Whitehall II Cohort Study. He has previously published work on psychosocial risk factors, health behaviours and health outcomes in other large prospective cohort studies: Aberdeen Children of the 1950s (ACONF), Health and Lifestyle Survey (HALS), Lothian Birth Cohort 1936 (LBC1936), Longitudinal Study of Young People in England (LSYPE). He is particularly interested in how socio-economic status (SES), health behaviours and personality traits may influence health and disease over the life course.
