Research Summary

I am currently undertaking empirical research on health outcomes and reforms in Russia. Additionally, I am working on projects exploring the economics of ageing and well-being in Russia (Nuffield) and a project looking at health behaviours and attitudes to risk in Russia. Recent publications have examined the Mortality - Mass Privatisation controversy in the Post-Communist World (Social Science and Medicine, Lancet) and the sexual attitudes and lifestyles of London's East European migrants.
