UCL East

Programme governance

UCL East is being driven, managed and governed through the UCL East programme. Ultimate accountability for, and financial control of, the UCL East programme sits with the UCL Council. The UCL East Executive Group has been established to govern and oversee delivery of the programme; this Executive group is chaired by the Provost and membership includes senior academic representation, as well as senior management for Operations, Finance, Estates.

The programme team is led by the programme’s Academic Director, Professor Paola Lettieri, and Deputy Academic Director, Professor Andy Hudson-Smith, who provide day-to-day leadership and strategic direction. Together they have established a number of governance groups, reporting to the Executive Group, which oversee and shape the direction of the programme.

The programme team is made up of subject matter experts in estates, space planning, academic planning, operations, engagement, communications and programme and project management - working together to deliver the series of projects and workstreams which make up the first phase of UCL East.
