Problem-based Learning
Problem-based learning (PBL) is an approach to teaching that engages students in
solving real-world, 'messy' problems, and which fosters active learning,
knowledge construction and the integration of university learning and 'real
life'.
In this session we brought together colleagues from four different
departments to share their experiences of PBL, and to discuss its benefits and
challenges.
