Incoming Calls

The majority of telephone extensions on the UCL system beginning with a 0, 2, 3 or 4 can be dialled directly by using the prefix 020 7679 followed by the last four digits of the extension number. Extension numbers beginning with a 5 can be directly-dialled by using the prefix 020 3108 followed by the last four digits of the extension number.

For example:

• Extensions 41234 is direct-dialled by 020 7679 1234
• Extension 37733 is direct-dialled by 020 7679 7733
• Extension 51011 is direct-dialled by 020 3108 1011

For users served by the UCL Hospitals switchboard, only the following range is direct dial:

• 9000 - 9999: 020 7380 9xxx

For users served by the Whittington Hospital switchboard extensions are generally all direct dial with the prefix 020 7288.

It is helpful to callers if you include your direct-dial number on all correspondence.
