The UCL Telecoms team are responsible for:
- Day-to-day management of UCL's telephone systems
UCL has twelve private telephone exchanges which are linked together serving more than 9,500 extensions. The UCL network also has direct dialling links to some other organisations including UCL hospitals. Many UCL departments are served by the telephone systems of other organisations.

This holds the UCL directory database which is used by switchboard operators and is the basis for the UCL website telephone directory.
Where do I find the UCL directory?
The Tiger 2020 system also logs all calls made on the UCL telephone network, the number dialled, duration and cost of calls. This is used to generate monthly telephone bills which are sent to departments. Information on the details of calls made is only made available to nominated departmental representatives.
