What and How to Teach with Video - a one-day workshop

On 1 April, former BBC Open University video producer Jack Koumi will demonstrate how to make the best use of video in teaching.
As well as explaining which teaching functions are most suited to the medium, Jack will offer detailed guidance on video design and technique.
He will run through the problems that educators commonly encounter when shooting film and offer practical tips to make videos as effective as possible.
Jack is currently a consultant and trainer in the scripting and production of educational media for higher education and teacher training.
He has conducted more than 60 workshops in 33 countries and published a range of texts including his 2006 book Designing Video and Multimedia for Open and Flexible Learning.
