Funding
UCL has a variety of funding schemes on offer to help departments develop teaching, learning or assessment methods, and to help staff improve their professional skills.
Teaching Innovation Grants
UCL awards grants to departments who have bright ideas for enhancing and innovating students' learning experiences.
Teaching Equipment Funds
The Teaching Equipment Fund will help departments with up to 50% of the costs for new teaching equipment.
ERASMUS Mobility Funding
The ERASMUS scheme offers both teaching and non-teaching staff an opportunity to travel to institutions all around Europe.
Study Assistance Scheme (SAS)
The UCL Study Assistance Scheme offers financial assistance to those wishing to study for a professional, nationally-recognised qualification.
E-learning Development Grant (ELDG)
Under this scheme, teaching staff wishing to develop e-learning projects can obtain funding of up to £1,000.
International Teaching Excellence Bursaries (ITEB)
These are available to people in UCL wishing to go overseas, and to those working abroad who would like to come to UCL.
