PanACEA kicks off new clinical trials programme for TB-drug evaluation

PanACEA representatives and partners, including Dr Patrick Phillips (MRC CTU@UCL) and Prof Tim McHugh (UCL Centre for Clinical Microbiology), gathered in Cape Town last week to prepare for the next five years of its TB drug evaluation work.

The consortium, established in 2008, was recently awarded funding by the EDCTP, and the German and Swiss governments.
