Research Centres

The UCL Institute of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Science is a Research Department within the UCL Division of Surgery and Interventional Science.  It comprises of four Centres: 

• John Scales Centre for Biomedical Engineering Director: Professor Gordon Blunn
• Centre for Tissue Regeneration Science Director: Professor Robert Brown
• Centre for Academic Clinical Orthopaedics Director: Professor Alister Hart
• ASPIRE Centre for Disability Science Director: to be appointed
