MSc in Urology

The Urology MSc offers a clinical theory, science and research-orientated programme of teaching which aims to give an understanding of the scientific basis of the specialty, the importance of laboratory research, and the use of research methods and how to apply them.

Students on the programme learn the scientific basis of clinical urology, the importance and nature of research methods used to acquire fundamental knowledge of the subject, research skills which enable scientists to carry out basic research, critical evaluation of scientific literature, and theoretical clinical urology to FRCS(Urol) standard.
