MSc degree information

This page provides information for students pursuing MSc degrees in the STS department.

MSc degrees requirements

STS operates two MSc degrees. Each has a specific academic programme, and each is defined by specific regulations.

Extenuating circumstances

Where illness or personal issues (e.g. a bereavement) affect your studies over more than one module you can ask to have this taken into account. You should discuss this with your personal tutor in the first instance and you will also need to submit evidence such as doctors' notes. For more details on the regulations click on the link on the right.
Coursework extension requests

If something happens that prevents you completing an assignment on time you must contact the course tutor by e-mail immediately and submit an extension request form. This is particularly important in the light of new penalties for late submission.
