Steph McGovern to speak at MAPS Faculty Graduation Ceremony

BBC Breakfast’s Steph McGovern is to be one of the speakers at this year’s UCL Graduation Ceremonies. Steph, who is the main business presenter for BBC t.v.’s early morning news and current affairs show, is an alumna of the Department of Science and Technology Studies and former winner of the Faculty Prize of the Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MAPS) Faculty (2005).

Professor Steve Miller, who was STS Head of Department during Steph’s time at UCL, said: “It’s great that Steph is coming to our Graduation Ceremony. She was a terrific student and made an enormous contribution to the intellectual and social life of the Department. I’m sure that her contribution will be an inspiration to graduands from across the Faculty.”

Steph will be speaking at the MAPS Faculty Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, September 5, at 2:45pm, in Bedford Square Garden. See for details
