UCL Social Media Project blog launches

The Grand Challenges funded project to encourage greater research collaboration and networking between those academics at UCL researching social media launched its blog this week. The blog is disseminating the discussions and debate from their kick off Town Meeting earlier this year, and inviting academics at UCL to join in the discussion. The blog has already started to collect a growing list of research publications on social media by UCL academics from across the college.

Over the next few weeks the blog will be focusing on what future research and collaborations at UCL on social media can be stimulated by the project and we hope many more academics will participate.

The UCL Social Media Project is led by Dr Simon J Lock with colleagues Dr Karen Bultitude and Dr Jon Agar from the Department of Science and Technology Studies, jointly with The UCL Centre for Digital Humanities.
