ESRC doctoral fellowship available

As part of UCL's successful award of Doctoral Training Centre status by the UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Department of Science and Technology Studies (STS) has one ESRC postgraduate studentship to allocate this year. This is for the STS pathway, which covers social studies of science or technology, social history of science or technology, science policy, science communication, and related areas.

The award can be made on a +3 or 1+3 basis, ie with or without funds for a masters year.

Interested applicants should submit an application (with research proposal, references etc) to UCL by 1 May 2011. We anticipate interviewing shortlisted candidates in the week beginning monday, 10 May 2011.
