Technology Studies at University College London. His research focuses on the governance of science, particularly the historical, sociological
and policy-related questions around the public dimensions of science and technology.

Simon has, over the past four years, been part of a small team responsible for the introduction of new teaching and learning for global citizenship in the STS department. As part of this the Department now runs a study abroad programme in Global Citizenship for overseas students.
