STS has a collection of recording equipment available for loan for academic purposes. This page lists items available, plus gives links to manuals and loan sheets.

Best to request a reservation for equipment well in advance.

Before we loan any equipment, we must be confident protocols are in place for ethical data collection and data protection. Discuss this with the Director of Research.

This is a sophisticated camera. The key advantages are (1) higher visual quality, and (2) professional audio capabilities. The key disadvantages are that it's a technical piece of kit, and it takes some training.
