The Department of Science and Technology Studies, UCL is an interdisciplinary centre for the integrated study of science's history, philosophy, sociology, communication and policy, located in the heart of London. Cultures of Ancient Science (conference)
15-17 March 2013 at UCL
This conference will bring together the leading international scholars of the history science of many ancient cultures to discuss the content and methodology of the study of ancient science and prospects for future research.
The scope here is important and unique. While there are conferences on the science of individual ancient cultures, there are not conferences on ancient science across many cultures.

The conference begins in room 264, Senate House. Go to the southernmost part of Senate House then up two floors. The conference begins at 2:30, the organising team will be there from 2:00.
