Open Days and Interviews
Visiting and interviewing help work out the match between applicant and degree.
2012-13 Open Days
- 21 January: evening. Our launch party, featuring a panel discussion of Mark Henderson's book, The Geek Manifesto, and a reception.
- 23 January: we take part in the UCL MAPS Open Day for postgraduate study (link)
- 20 March 2013: afternoon
- 29 May 2013: afternoon
Open Days include a programme of activities by the department, including some sampler talks, interviews with staff, local tours, and opportunities to meet current students.
Don't show up unexpected. Contact our admissions team in advance <email@example.com>. This will allow us to organise activities that best suit you.
Other interview events
We invite all qualified candidates to attend an informal interview with staff from our department. An interview is not compulsory, but we find it extremely useful both for you and for us.
It may also be possible to interview candidates via phone or online. While efficient, however, these prevent applicants from visiting UCL, exploring Bloomsbury, and experiencing firsthand what a special place the department is.
Please get in touch with us (at firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange an interview.
