Stem cell trials offer hope of repairing damaged hearts

Prof John Martin, British Heart Foundation professor of cardiovascular science at UCL, discusses the positive changes observed among heart attack victims participating in trials that use stem cells as a treatment to repair damaged hearts.

Prof John Martin   The trials, funded by the Stem Cell Foundation and the London Development Agency, are conducted at Barts and the London NHS Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS trust.
