Dr Russell Evans

Biographical Details

After receiving his early education in Cornwall, in 2002 Russell completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Oxford (St John’s College). In 2006 he was admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the same institution, having submitted a thesis entitled Application of Room Temperature Ionic Liquids as Electrochemical Solvents. Between 2006-09 he worked as a Technical Administrator for Penwith Housing Association in Penzance. Russell joined the Department of Statistical Science at UCL in late 2010.

Responsibilities

Russell is primarily responsible for managing the curricula of the department’s taught modules and programmes and coordinating all aspects of summative assessment administration within the department.
