How do I get a certificate/transcript?
- Proof of student status (e.g. for Council Tax exemption)
- Attendance Record Form for Visa Purposes
Are solutions to past exam papers available?
No. Lecturers tend to go through last year's exam paper in a revision lecture. If students wish to check that the answers they have given to past exam papers are correct they are very welcome to show them to their lecturer.
Can I transfer from SCORE/SOREL to Statistics?
Yes, but you should not take many non-statistics options in your final year (to make up for the fact that you have a relatively smaller number of earlier Stats courses).
Can I transfer from SCORE to ECON/STATS?
Students will only be eligible to transfer from SCORE to Econ/Stats if they meet the following criteria; obtain 1st overall (at least 70%) for first year; obtain a mark of at least 70% on ECON1604; and meet original entry requirements for Econ/Stats except for English Language. For students who meet these criteria, a decision on whether to allow the transfer will be made by both Statistical Science and Economics, based on individual merit and depending on the space available.
Can I take MAST7012 and/or ELEC3017?
- Econ/Stats students: No, neither.
- Other students: Can't take both. If ELEC3017 is on your official list of options you can take it. MAST7012 is a new course which we have not approved yet, so, at the moment, you should take ELEC3017 and NOT MAST7012.
