The Registrar's Office Staff

The following list provides a brief overview of the roles and responsibilities of each staff member within the department. Use the arrows to display further information on each role.

Registrar: Wendy Appleby

  • Leads the SRS Division

Deputy Registrar (Operations and Planning): Andy Saffery

  • Member of the SRS Management Team with specific responsibility for the financial management, planning and related operational and strategic developments to support SRS operations
  • Management of the Registrar's Office, providing executive support to the Academic Registrar, effective liaison between SRS and other Professional Services Divisions, and coordinating the implementation of UCL policies and procedures as they affect SRS - with particular regard to Financial, HR, IT Support, Health and Safety and Estates matters
  • UCL Complaints Officer and UCL's Point of Contact for the Office of the Independent Adjudicator


Administration and Staffing Co-ordinator: Belinda Fullelove

  • Provision of operational support for SRS
  • Responsible for the local development, implementation and operation of all Human Resources (HR) policies, processes and systems
  • Day to day operation of the Registrar's Office, working with the Deputy Registrar (Operations and Planning) and working with the Academic Registrar


Administration and Projects Co-ordinator: Jo McIntosh

  • Planning and implementing projects undertaken by the Registrar’s Office
  • Assisting the Deputy Registrar (Operations and Planning) in space and accommodation planning
  • Assisting the Deputy Registrar (Operations and Planning) with the administration of academic complaints, appeals and student discipline


Finance and Operations Co-ordinator: Imran Ahmed

  • Assistance to Deputy Registrar (Operations and Planning) with SRS budgeting, ordering and financial reporting processes
  • Primary SRS point of contact with Information Services Division (ISD) regarding new functional requirements for SRS
  • Provision of user access for SRS staff to relevant UCL systems


Executive Administrator: Edward Payne

  • Administrative support and PA to the Academic Registrar
  • Administrative support to the Deputy Registrar (Operations and Planning) in dealing with student grievances and complaints
  • Administrative support to the Administration and Staffing Co-ordinator in relation to divisional HR functions


Operations and Services Officer: Terence McKay

  • Overseeing and supporting use of the electronic document records management (EDRM) system across SRS and liaising with UCL Records / Data Protection Officer regarding SRS storage of data
  • Ordering of equipment and general supplies for the Registrar's Office and procurement and monitoring of bulk supplies for SRS as a whole
  • Liaising with external contractors over servicing and maintenance of externally-supplied equipment


Communications Manager: Jamie Middleton

  • Development and management of communications strategies for SRS
  • Setting and monitoring standards in SRS communications
  • Co-ordination of online delivery of information for UCL staff and students
