Duties and Responsibilities
The Department wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow to provide co-teaching and administration on the courses ‘International Political Economy’ and ‘International Organisations’ to students enrolled on the School’s Masters programmes. The ‘International Organisations’ course is a core course for students enrolled on the MSc in International Public Policy. The post holder will also be responsible for the delivery of the postgraduate course ‘International Trade Policy’. Responsibilities also include other normal duties of teaching administration, first and second marking on related courses and dissertations, personal tutor responsibilities and supervision of Masters dissertations. The post holder will also carry out the role of Programme Director to the MSc in International Public Policy.
This is a fixed term appointment available from 1st September 2013 to 31st August 2014.
Key Requirements
Candidates should have a PhD in politics or international relations or an appropriate discipline (candidates nearing completion may be considered) and a familiarity with the key arguments and literature in the discipline. Previous experience of teaching at postgraduate level is desirable.
