Introduction
Zahbia is a Teaching Fellow in International Relations and teaches on graduate courses on the MA in International Public Policy. She completed a PhD in War Studies from Kings College London in 2009. She previously worked as a Research Associate at INCORE at the University of Ulster, and at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), Berlin.
Her research interests are security studies; conflict resolution and comparative peace processes; and strategy and political violence – with a particualr interest in intra-group relations. Her doctoral thesis used strategic theory and conflict resolution theories to analyse the dynamics of peace processes in Northern Ireland, Israel/Palestine and Kashmir.
She also holds an MA in International Peace and Security, and a MRes in War Studies from the Department of War Studies, Kings College London.
