Introduction
Nicola Chelotti is Teaching fellow in EU politics. He also participate as a Research Assistant in a ESRC Project on the Informal Politics of Co-Decision (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/spp/research/esrc-project).
His main research focuses on the decision-making process of the European foreign and security policy. In particular, his PhD project has investigated three areas: the role conceptions held by the officials who participate in the CFSP/ESDP decision-making process; the practices and the logics that underpin their negotiations; the links between the national ministries and the Permanent Representations in Brussels.
Nicola holds a MSc in Politics and Government of the European Union from the LSE, and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Florence. In 2009/2010 he was Visiting Fellow at the Centre for International Studies of the LSE. He also collaborates with the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Pisa.
