Introduction
"Sabina is a Teaching Assistant for the MA courses on
International Law and Human Rights and Theoretical Foundations of Human
Rights. She also teaches graduate seminars on Human Rights Research
Methods.
She is currently completing her PhD thesis under the supervision of Bașak Çali and Saladin Meckled-García. Sabina holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford and an MA in Human Rights with Distinction from University College London.
Sabina has worked for the UN Global Compact Office in New York and the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants in Brussels. Prior to taking up her doctoral studies, Sabina worked as a parliamentary researcher for MEP Claude Moraes, Group Spokesperson on Civil Liberties at the European Parliament."
Claude and Sabina recently co-authored a chapter on EU asylum and migration policy ("The Law and Politics of Migration and Asylum, the Lisbon Treaty and the EU", forthcoming in D.Ashiagbor, N.Countouris and I.Lianos: The EU After Lisbon, Cambridge University Press 2011)
