Lisbeth has worked at the Department of Political Science since October 2005. She is responsible for overseeing the administration of the Department's Affiliate, MA and MSc programmes.

module registration, coursework/examination and dissertation arrangements, plagiarism, programme structures and assessment rules, extenuating circumstances, deferrals and interruptions, ELO information, handbooks and regulations.

Responsibilities and information
Helen has worked at the Department of Political Science since May 2004.
Helen is responsible for managing all aspects of the Admissions procedures for prospective masters and research degrees and should be contacted on such matters as application submission, entry requirements, admissions deferrals and funding opportunities.
Helen is further responsible for the administration of the department's MPhil/PhD programme together with the MPhil/PhD programme Director Dr Slava Mikhaylov and should be contacted on matters such as research proposals, admissions, funding and scholarship opportunities.
Helen is in the office Tuesday to Friday.
Helen is a fire Evacuation Marshall.

Responsibilities and information
Nicky has been Departmental Administrator in the Department of Political Science since September 2007. She is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Department and its financial and administrative management, including teaching, HR issues, research grants, finance and estates.
Nicky is also the Departmental Equal Opportunities Liaison Officer and Departmental Safety Officer.

Helen Holt is the Student Administrator responsible for overseeing all aspects of the administration of the Department's MA and MSc programmes.
Key areas of responsibility that masters students should contact Helen about are:
- Timetabling, module registration, examination and dissertation arrangements, attendance, assessment rules, Departmental Open Day, careers events and applications for extenuating circumstances, deferrals and interruptions.
Key areas of responsibility that UCL staff may wish to contact Helen about are:
- Departmental Newsletter and Open Day, timetabling, PORTICO examinations and assessment, ELO information, student handbooks, study packs, reading lists and induction arrangements.
Helen is a first aider and fire evacuation marshal.
Helen works part-time and is present in the department on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Rebecca started working at the Department in May 2012. Rebecca is a Postgraduate Administrator and is involved in various aspects of student administration. Rebecca’s key responsibilities include;
responding to general student enquiries, resolving timetabling issues, processing extenuating circumstances forms, processing interruption and deferral requests, responding to student letter requests and coordinating the submission and processing of essays.

Stephen Thomson

Responsibilities and information
Stephen has worked at the Department since August 2008 and his primary responsibility is managing the IT systems within the School. This includes staff and student computers, the School’s network, external website and intranets. Stephen also assists SPP staff with IT issues and development.
Stephen is also the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the School and is responsible for ensuring the School, its staff and students adhere to and comply with the Data Protection Act and relevant codes of practice. The DPO will also monitor and check compliance to the act and codes of conduct.
Stephen studied E-Business Systems at Napier University and previously worked at The University of Edinburgh as a Web Developer. He is actively interested in web accessibility, CSS, browser compatibility and the application of new technologies to assist web and e-learning experiences.
