My research interests revolve around stuttering, as I myself am a person who stutters. My PhD is focusing on using transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to

a) enhance understanding of the mechanisms underlying stuttering and

b) to explore the use of tDCS as a method to improve the speech fluency of people who stutter.

I am supervised by Professor Peter Howell and Dr Jörn Diedrichsen. I am funded by the Dominic Barker Trust under the UCL Impact Fund.
