6.35-6.50 pm Roland-Francois Lack (French Department, SELCS, UCL), 'Voltaire in Wandsworth', a talk about famous French writers in London 

6.50-7.00 pm Screening of No. 8 (2012)the UCL documentary film about the house in Camden where Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine lived in 1873 

7.00-7.15 pm Screening of House of Knives (2012), which re-creates the passionate relationship between the two poets when they lived at No. 8 Royal College Street; see trailer

7.15-7.40 pm Reading of Rimbaud and Verlaine poems in French, followed by English translations read by Jack Johns, Sam Swainsbury and Lucy Tregear 

7.40-7.50 pm David Harsent on script writing 

7.50-8.00pm Roundtable discussion with David Harsent (script-writer), Graham Henderson (director), Lucy Tregear (actor, Sam Swainsbury (actor), Jack Johns (actor), and Professor Timothy Mathews (French Department, SELCS, UCL)
