Research Description

His research interests are in evaluation and planning of oral health programmes particularly in the use of measures of health-related quality of life and dental needs assessment. Currently, he is involved with an international research team examining the possible relationship between early childhood dental caries and weight gain in underweight infants

Education Description

Professor Hobdell is a lecturer on the UCL MSc in Dental Public Health course, covering the teaching of Evaluation and Planning of Oral Health Programmes. He also teaches on the postgraduate courses in Dental Public Health in Universities in Cambodia, Loas, Vietnam and at Queen Mary?s School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London.
