Research Description

I am a neuropsychologist at the Dementia Research Centre, UCL Institute of Neurology, where I currently hold an Alzheimer’s Research UK Senior Research Fellowship. My research focuses upon rare and young onset dementias, with a particular interest in posterior cortical atrophy (PCA). I am also interested in the representation of abstract conceptual knowledge, reading, and number and quantity processing. I currently lead the ESRC-NIHR-funded Seeing what they see project into dementia-related visual dysfunction and EPSRC-funded C-PLACID project into computational approaches to improving the assessment of cognitive function in people with or at risk of dementia.

Research Activities
