Profile

Research Description

My research has focused on the neuropsychological investigation of language and perceptual function in individuals with neurodegenerative disease and stroke. I am involved in a number of cross-sectional and longitudinal studies characterising the progression and evolution of conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and frontotemporal lobar degeneration, and am particularly interested in visual disorders and disease progression in posterior cortical atrophy (PCA). I also use neuropsychology and transcortical magnetic stimulation to investigate refractory access disorders, and abstract and concrete conceptual knowledge.
