Research Description

I have studied T cell immunology in juvenile idiopathic arthritis during my PhD and demonstrated a link between a pro-inflammatory population of cells, called Th17, found in the inflamed joint and the severity of the child's arthritis. In 2012 I was awarded a Wellcome Trust Clinician Scientist Fellowship and have been investigating the transcriptional control of regulatory B cells together with Professor Mauri, UCL.
