Established in 1985 the Slade Summer School provides a unique opportunity for a wide range of artists and students to work within the studios and vibrant atmosphere of the Slade, a world-renowned school of fine art. All of our courses are taught by practicing artists with an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the different levels of experience and needs of our Summer School students. The Slade Summer School is an exciting and lively environment for students to test their abilities and experiment while learning new skills and different approaches to making art. You can take part in a lively range of extra-curricular activities including art history lectures and artist talks, exhibition openings as well as a series of artists’ projects run by Slade tutors, alumni and residents. We look forward to welcoming you in Summer 2018.
