My works highlight the correlation of events in contexts that are personal, social, political, and ecological. Through the method of storytelling, I interweave personal memories, Chinese mythologies, and past social phenomena. Rich in symbolism and materiality and mobile in narratives, my paintings break away from the limitations of medium, time, and place. They oscillate between reality and imagination and stimulate complex emotional responses to individuals' living experiences. They create palpable phantasms that inspire meanings beyond individual significance.
