Following the recent solo show of her work at the Redfern Gallery the artists Trevor Clarke and G R Thomson, two initiators of Exhibiting Space, offer an insight into and contextualisation of her work.
Exhibiting Space (1984 – 89) was a forum for presentations ranging across visual plastic arts, music, science, architecture and theory, within which Jean Spencer was a regular participant and organiser.
