Jess Flood-Paddock

Working Title: (lean-to), February 2000.
Wood, tarpaulin. Approx: 4mx2m.

This work is given as an example of how my on going interest in the use of light with space and viewer participation/choreography became manifested in an object. My work has pursued the possibilities of making films without using film or standard projection techniques and has led to a denial of a specific focal point. An undetermined hierachy/status of an object has become a recent concern created through the use of materials, placement, light and scale. Most of my work is unenterable and questions notions of public, private and required participation within a controlled space.
