David Bickerstaff's www project, Ubiquity, creates an intensely visual environment in which the users are unfamiliar immigrants, forced to decipher and experiment with signs and codes until they can 'inhabit' the space.

Rory Hamilton's project, Arrivals/Departures, looks at the airport as a mini-city in itself where people are processed as data, information is in constant flow and the direction of outward going and incoming movement is rigorously controlled.
