Preparatory reading
You are strongly encouraged to prepare
in advance for the courses that you intend to take. The individual course pages suggest preparatory
reading and exercises. Second- and final-year students who have received confirmation that they have been accepted onto classes for which they have preregistered should make a point of buying required texts before the beginning of term.
