Who to contact with questions
Although staff members are available to answer queries, you should do your very best to find the answer to your questions before you contact the SELCS Year-Abroad Officer or Tutor. The Year-Abroad website is full of information and it should be your first port of call.
- General Inquiries should be directed to selcs.yearabroad@ucl.ac.uk.
- Students seeking guidance on their plans for the Year Abroad should either contact the Year-Abroad Tutor during his office hours or email him to book a separate appointment.
- Students seeking non-academic advice about the Year Abroad or those with administrative questions (forms, deadlines, documentation etc.) should contact the Year Abroad Officer.
- Students with queries relating to accommodation during the Year Abroad, finance, Erasmus grants, travel insurance, welfare support, disability issues, Local Education Authorities, and student loans should contact The Study Abroad Team. The latter is based in UCL Registry.
- Your Personal Tutor is also available to discuss any issues not directly related to the year abroad. You can find the name of your personal tutor on the year abroad Moodle site.
