Advanced Portuguese
Course code: SPAN4010
Course unit value: 1.0 cu
This course provides students with advanced oral and written Portuguese language skills.
Contact hours will be divided between lectures and interactive seminars and will cover: grammar lectures; oral and essay-writing skills; translation and comprehension or Portuguese literary/political/cultural texts. Students will be expected to complete independent learning and coursework.
Assessment: one unseen written exam (50%), coursework (30%), oral exam (20%)
