Project in Dutch
Course code: DUTC4901.
Course unit value: 0.5.
A project written in Dutch on an approved topic in an area of Dutch
literature, linguistics, modern history, society or culture. The course consists of three elements:
- research
- project management
- a report.
If possible, depending on student interests, students work on shared projects. The projects cover specific aspects of the modern Low Countries. They involve collaborative research and coordination of activities as part of project management. The project report is a substantial composition in Dutch offering an in-depth exploration of a particular topic.
This course offers final year or affiliate students the opportunity to study a topic in depth, that is not currently covered by other courses in the Department of Dutch.
Assessment: Two 3000 word essays, 100%.
Tutor: Theo Hermans.
