Developments in Spanish Film: Dictatorship
Course code: SPAN2304
Course unit value: 0.5
This course examines the development of film in Spain
during the Franco Regime and provides an introduction to film theory.
Lectures will be given on set texts during the first half of each term and there will be seminar discussion comparing set texts with secondary texts during the second half. Students must view films before classes.

Assessment:
1 3000 word essay (40%) and a 2-hour exam (60%).
Affiliate students at UCL for the Autumn Term only will be assessed on the basis of the coursework essay.
In the exam, students must answer questions on films not studied for the coursework essay.
